Welcome to the official website of Pétanque Victoria Inc.
News & Announcements
Expressions of interest (EOI) are invited for the nomination of dates for events to be included on the official calendar. This process will be conducted in accordance with the new policy governing the submission and allocation of event dates, which is available on the Petanque Victoria website under Documents. In support of this process, a Calendar Committee has been established, with Beverley Forsyth appointed as Calendar Committee Convenor.
Under the policy, major tournaments and Victorian Championship events will have priority, and their allocated dates are listed in the Preliminary Calendar on the website. Clubs may submit as many date requests as they wish, but in the first round, no more than three home tournament dates will be approved for each club. A weekday 60+ event may also be considered. Expressions of interest for Championship events, and the allocation of those dates, will be assessed separately.
Clubs wishing to host an event are requested to submit an EOI specifying their proposed event date or dates, together with any supporting information required under the policy. This process is intended to support the fair and orderly development of the calendar and to minimise scheduling conflicts across the membership.
Member clubs are encouraged to review the policy and Preliminary Calendar carefully before lodging their submission.
Please ensure that EOI are received no later than 30 June 2026. All correspondence relating to EOI and calendar nominations should be directed to Beverley Forsyth, Calendar Committee Convenor, at bjforsyth@bigpond.com

The most up-to-date Player.csv file may now be downloaded from the Home Page of the mypetanque.com site. The version available is ordered by player name. Again, we are grateful to Petanque Australia for allowing the use of their player database in this regard. Please ensure the semicolon ";" is selcted in the Sport program as the text delimiter.
